#42 Building The Umbrella Before The Storm

#42 Building The Umbrella Before The Storm

In this episode of Everything's Messy Podcast I had the pleasure of sitting down with the incredible Kevin Palmieri, one of the founders of Next Level University and a global top 100 podcaster. We had an amazing conversation about his messy, yet inspiring journey to success. Kevin opens up about how he overcame a dark period of depression and suicidal thoughts to find his true calling in podcasting and coaching.

Kevin kicked things off by sharing his background, growing up without a father figure, and how that really took a toll on his self-worth. We then dive into his chase for external success through high-paying jobs, only to find out that money couldn’t buy him internal fulfillment. Kevin recounted the rock bottom moment that spurred him to start his own podcast and switch gears to entrepreneurship.

He also opened up about the emotional journey of reconnecting with his estranged father later in life, which was a major part of his healing process. We explored how he developed the mindset and skills necessary to build a thriving podcast coaching business. And, of course, Kevin dropped some fantastic advice for aspiring podcasters on managing expectations and finding the right motivation.

Join us for this heartfelt and inspiring conversation!
